Terraspread - Spread Biomes
This mod introduces a unique craftable item called Terraspread that allows you to modify biome boundaries. Simply hold this item in your hand and right-click on grass or dirt at a biome border - the adjacent biome will gradually expand.
Main Features
Terraspread - the primary tool for spreading biomes. With it, you can expand the boundaries of one biome at the expense of a neighboring one.
Terrascrub - a special restoration tool. If you change your mind or make a mistake, this item will return the area to its original state before using Terraspread.
Usage Features
If you use either of these items while sneaking, the change will be applied exactly where you're aiming, not on adjacent territory. This provides more precise control over the process.
Compatibility
The mod works successfully with popular modifications Terralith and Blooming Biosphere. Error messages may appear in the server console, but this doesn't affect functionality - all features work correctly.
Restrictions
Some biomes are protected from changes and cannot be spread or overwritten. These include:
- Mushroom islands and deep dark caves
- Beach zones and stony shores
- All types of oceans (warm, cold, frozen)
- Deep ocean biomes
- Special biomes from compatible mods
Grief Prevention
To protect certain territories, you can create a protected zone. Place a marker with the tag terraspread_protected, and a protected area with a 256-block radius will form around it, where using the mod's items will be blocked.
