Tetra Upgraded Netherite Patch
This mod provides full integration of all ten upgrade types from Upgraded Netherite into Tetra's tool modification system. Currently available for Minecraft 1.16.5, with ports for versions 1.18 and 1.19 in development.
How It Works
Tetra now features the "Netherite Runes" improvement that can be applied to tools made from any material. A particularly interesting feature is the ability to install two different upgrades on double-headed tools, allowing both effects to activate simultaneously. Upgrades can be replaced with one another or completely removed. For decorative purposes, "aesthetic runes" can be applied to tool butts and right sides of pickaxes - these don't affect durability and provide no special effects.
With the corresponding add-on installed, Ultimate netherite becomes available.
All Upgraded Netherite configuration settings fully apply to modular items with these improvements and are dynamically displayed in item tooltips.
Each upgrade has unique visual effects adapted to specific tool parts - all Tetra modules have received special textures.
Soot Effect
Added a purely decorative "sooted" improvement that is applied using coal or charcoal. This allows giving handles a more appropriate netherite-themed appearance.
Renaming
All Upgraded Netherite types have received new names for improvements. If you want to extend these names to regular Upgraded Netherite items as well, use the renaming resource pack. The new names are:
- Corrupterite - Corrupted Netherite
- Enderite - Voidwalker Netherite
- Featherite - Skyseeker Netherite
- Blazerite - Magmatic Netherite
- Golderite - Gilded Netherite
- Phanterite - Phantasmal Netherite
- Spiderite - Vile Netherite
- Prismarite - Abyssal Netherite
- Witherite - Blighted Netherite
- Ultimerite - Paragon Netherite
