TFC Homestead - Expansion for Your Homestead

This mod adds various possibilities for arranging your farm and improving quality of life in the TFC world.

Important: Any component of the mod can be disabled in settings (except for the main storage module).

Food Storage System

Now you have several ways to preserve food products without using vessels:

  • Food Shelves - Wooden constructions that hold any types of food. Reduce spoilage rate by 0.8x, and when placed in shade away from sunlight - additionally by 0.5x.

  • Meat Hangers - Also made from wood, suitable for storing cooked meat, cheese, and garlic. Preservation coefficient - 0.6x, in shade - additionally 0.5x.

  • Preserving Jars - Glass containers with tin lids for pickled products. When using vinegar, provide preservation coefficient of 0.09x.

  • Grain Piles - Similar to log piles, created by Shift+clicking on the ground with grain (wheat, barley, etc.). Hold up to 16 units. To get 0.4x coefficient, place them in silos or shelter from direct sunlight.

Content Management

  • Right-click on block places held stack
  • Left-click extracts one item
  • Shift+left-click extracts entire stack

Due to TFC stacking system features, you cannot add items to already filled blocks. To replenish, first extract contents, combine stacks using TFC hotkey, then return back.

Aged Drinks

Any alcoholic drink can be aged for 3 in-game months to obtain special effects:

  • Sweet drinks (rum, cider) - speed boost
  • Strong drinks (sake, vodka) - haste
  • Whiskey - haste
  • Beer - absorption

Village Residents

The mod adds primitive TFC residents with characteristic thatched roofs and mud huts:

  • Live in simple conditions without luxury
  • Mostly loners without developed infrastructure
  • Don't use emeralds as currency
  • Trade raw materials for precious stones
  • Demand double price for their goods without discounts

Resident Types:

  • Digger: stones/cobblestones
  • Lumberjack: logs/planks
  • Miner: non-metal ores
  • Builder: building materials
  • Farmer: seeds

Additional Features

  • Ability to make horses/mules/donkeys immune to slowing in grass/snow/mud
  • Walking cane for convenient movement through difficult terrain
  • Familiar animals when slaughtered give more meat/hides depending on familiarity level (up to +100% at 100 familiarity)
