Thaumcraft 6 beta 26 contains a critical issue — significant lag spikes occur when using the Research Table and Focus Manipulator in multiplayer mode, which can even cause client crashes. While the Focus Manipulator can be worked around, the Research Table is essential for proper Thaumcraft gameplay.
This mod addresses the problem by automatically granting players substantial Research points upon joining the world. Currently, support is implemented only for default Research categories (feedback is welcome for Thaumcraft addon integration). Future development plans include adding a system to convert experience points into Research.
IMPORTANT: Server-side installation is required. The client version is compatible but optional. Once all players have joined the server at least once, the mod can be safely removed.
