Thaumic Horizons

Thaumic Horizons is an addon for Thaumcraft 4 that unlocks new possibilities for familiar mechanics. You can install magical lenses on your Goggles of Revealing, mix essentia with your own blood to create potions, or even learn to apply infusions to living creatures.

Main Features

• Magical Lenses: Add night vision, the ability to see through blocks, detect creatures through walls, or automatically scan objects to your goggles. Lenses are easily interchangeable on Goggles of Revealing and similar items.
• Containment Focus: Shrink creatures and store them in warded jars!
• Biological Alchemy: Instantly grow crops, duplicate meat, or transform zombie parts into useful leather.
• Blood Alchemy: Create injections by mixing essentia with blood. For long-range attacks, use blast phials or the injector—a thaumium crossbow.
• Healing Vat: A glass tank that heals you and your creatures using small doses of essentia. After research, it can be used for cloning or as the basis of an infusion vat.
• Creature Infusion: Transform common livestock into new beings like the Ore Boar or Guardian Panther, or enhance the abilities of almost any creature with Quicksilver Limbs, Runic Hide, and other modifications.
• Soul Sieve: Extract soul fragments from soul sand and feed them to a jarred brain for experience, or throw them into the Inspiratron for knowledge fragments. With the Soulforge, you can reconstruct human souls and clone villagers.
• Self-Reincarnation: Place a soul beacon on the healing vat, and upon death, you will be reborn in a cloned body without losing experience! Create a mirrored amulet to have your inventory appear from a magic mirror in a safe location.
• Animation Focus: Create temporary golems from almost any block! They will fight for you, and with an animation core, they can be made permanent.
• Illumination Focus: As long as you have vis, you won't need torches anymore! Plus, dyeable light orbs look much more magical.
• Liquefaction Focus: Melt blocks and items in the world or slowly transmute stone into lava.
• Alchemites: Magical explosives that shatter blocks into crystallized essentia. Don't let the blast hit a node!
• Disintegration Focus: Convert blocks and creatures into crystallized essentia.
• Node Monitor: Emits a redstone signal when any aspect in a node drops to 1 or below.
• Shard Transmutation: Convert a balanced shard into an ordinary shard of any aspect.
• Ethereal Shard: This floating crystal, capable of binding ethereal essence, acts as a synthetic aura node when charged with centivis. But high capacity requires a lot of essence!
• Vis Dynamo: A portable power source for your vis network! This device streams centivis from your wand. After research, it can be configured to work with essentia...
• Self-Infusion: Design the perfect body and be reborn into it to gain superhuman abilities like the Silverwood Heart, Spider Climb, and Warped Tumor!
