ThaumicTweaker

A modification offering numerous settings and improvements for Thaumcraft 6 that will delight any fine-tuning enthusiast.

Bug Fixes

• Eliminated screen shake and damage sound when wearing Boots of the Traveler and Cloud Ring with zero fall damage
• Fixed client crash when processing large FXPollution packet values
• Resolved tooltip display issues in Pech trading interface (which made glowing items turn black)
• Fixed automatic re-equipping of Primal Crusher when repairing
• Optimized Research Table interaction using Shift+click for Paper and Scribing Tools
• Eliminated crash when Thaumatorium interacts with certain item insertion/extraction methods
• Fixed Thaumometer particle display when stored in first hotbar slot

Enhancements

NOTE: All listed enhancements are enabled by default.

• Eldritch Crab: Dead eldritch crabs rotate completely to match death animations of spiders, silverfish and endermites
• Focus Effects:
  • Updated cast sounds of certain focus effects for greater variety (Break, Earth, Exchange, Frost, Heal, Rift)
  • Added impact sounds to various focus effects that lacked them (Break, Earth, Exchange, Fire, Flux, Frost, Heal, Rift)
  • Several focus mediums now play additional cast sounds for differentiation (Bolt, Cloud, Mine, Spellbat)
• Interface Adjustments: Adjusted Pech Trade, Arcane Bore, and Advanced/Basic Automated Crossbow interface positions to match other inventories

General Tweaks

NOTE: All listed tweaks are disabled by default or use Thaumcraft default values.

• Apprentice's Ring Tweaks:
  • Allows finding Apprentice's Ring in some vanilla structures
  • Modifies Vis discount provided by Apprentice's Ring
• Cult Robes Tweaks: Modifies Vis discount provided by each armor piece
• Curiosity Tweaks:
  • Ancient Curiosity, Arcane Curiosity, and Preserved Curiosity can be obtained through Pech trades
  • Eldritch Curiosity drops from Eldritch Guardians
  • Twisted Curiosity drops from Giant Taint Seeds
• Flux Pollution Tweaks:
  • Adjusts amount of flux generated by Essentia Mirror
  • Adjusts amount of flux generated by Mirror
• Golem Material Tweaks: Changes golem material stats such as armor, health, damage, and crafting materials
• Pech Trade Tweaks:
  • Add and remove Pech trades using CraftTweaker or GroovyScript
  • Add items valued by Pech using CraftTweaker or GroovyScript
  • Change item value calculation for Pech
• Porous Stone Tweaks:
  • Add or remove special item drops from porous stone using CraftTweaker or GroovyScript
  • Change chance of special items dropping when mining porous stone
  • Increase number of special items dropping when mining porous stone
• Primal Crusher Tweaks:
  • Modifies refining infusion enchantment level of Primal Crusher
  • Makes Primal Crusher Unbreakable
• Research Table Tweaks: Research table can use and consume items from nearby inventories for research
• Special Mining Result Tweaks: Add and remove special mining drops using CraftTweaker or GroovyScript
• Vis Generator Tweaks: Changes amount of RF generated per Vis point and RF output per tick
• Vis Siphon Tweaks: Increases void seed creation speed
• Void Thaumaturge Robes Tweaks: Modifies Vis discount provided by each armor piece
• Miscellaneous Tweaks:
  • Allows Thaumometer sky scanning in dimensions other than Overworld
  • Changes alchemical brass recipe to use copper instead of iron
  • Disables Thaumcraft's item aspect calculation based on crafting recipe
  • Restores Legacy Thaumometer scanning functionality from version 1.7.10

Beginner Mode Tweaks

NOTE: All listed tweaks are disabled by default. Beginner Mode Tweaks are designed to reduce cost of certain recipes or allow players to bypass certain mechanics.

• Recipes:
  • Arcane Bore: Makes Arcane Bore recipe cheaper
  • Bath Salts: Makes Bath Salts recipe cheaper
  • Sanitizing Soap: Makes Sanitizing Soap recipe cheaper
  • Workbench Charger: Makes Workbench Charger recipe cheaper
• Eldritch Guardian: Removes warp gain when Eldritch Guardians spawn in player's line of sight
• Primordial Pearl Recipes:
  • New infusion recipe creating primordial pearl with 1 durability
  • New infusion recipe increasing primordial pearl durability
• Void Siphon: Void siphon no longer requires nearby rift and will slowly accumulate progress over time
