WHAT IS BUMBLEZONE?
The Bumblezone is a unique dimension entirely dedicated to bees! Here you'll find completely new blocks related to these insects, interesting structures to explore, and special bee armor. If you're lucky, in some buildings you'll find special honey compasses that will point the way to the Bee Queen!
The dimension itself resembles the interior of a huge bee hive. You'll see giant walls arranged in rows with water channels between them. You might be fortunate enough to discover areas covered in pollen or canyons with massive honey crystals! Check the Bumblezone advancements tab to learn how to enter this dimension and what to do there.
Bees in this world are very protective of their honey. If you mine honey blocks, destroy or take honey from brood comb blocks, or attack a bee - all surrounding bees will receive buffs and become VERY angry with you due to the Wrath of the Hive effect! However, if you feed bees or brood comb blocks with honey, you can calm them down. Feeding gives you the Protection of the Hive effect, which makes bees defend you against any attackers!
(You can weaken the bees in the settings if they seem too strong, or strengthen them if you want to die!)
Important: If you have severe trypophobia and the current textures cause discomfort, you can enable the built-in Anti-Trypophobia resourcepack by going to the resourcepack menu and moving it to the top of the right side to activate it.
And yes, you can use this mod in your modpacks!
WHAT DOES THIS MOD OFFER?
Check out the wiki below for all information! This wiki is constantly updated according to the latest Bumblezone versions.

HOW TO ENTER THIS WORLD OR EXIT FROM IT?
Entering the dimension is very simple! Just throw an ender pearl at any bee hive or nest (works even with modded ones!) to enter inside and spawn in the dimension. You can also make yourself (riding a mob or vehicle) or any mob enter the dimension by using a piston to push the player or mob into a hive or nest block! (Be sure to surround the construction so the piston doesn't push the mob sideways instead of entering the hive)
To teleport out of the dimension, you can either dig down and fall below Y = 0 (don't worry, you won't die - I made sure of that), or climb above Y = 256. And yes, you can be riding a mob or vehicle to have them exit the dimension with you, or push them out to leave the dimension.
The mod will try to return the mob or player to the original location and dimension from which they attempted to enter Bumblezone. If a mob originating from Bumblezone tries to exit, it will be placed at point 0,0 in the Overworld so you can find it.

HOW TO CONFIGURE THIS MOD?
To access most of this mod's configuration files, go to the config folder above the mods folder to find them. These configuration files will be applied to all worlds.
However, some of this mod's settings are in JSON, so you need to create a datapack to override these parameters. Actually, some block tags used in this mod can be used to exclude modded combs from being imported into the dimension! Or change which blocks and items anger bees! Be sure to check the configuration file too - there are many options there as well! The wiki can help here by showing what to edit: https://github.com/TelepathicGrunt/Bumblezone/wiki (You can also view my mod's common/src/main/resources/data/ folder on GitHub to see the JSON files themselves)
Currently, there are several configuration options for the mod. Some affect the dimension and allow you to control how bright the fog is (forge config), what the movement factor of the dimension is (JSON config), and whether exiting the dimension will always return you to the Overworld instead of the previous dimension you came from (forge config). Many other configs allow you to customize the Wrath of the Hive effect so you can change how long it lasts, how far bees have to be to get angry and buffed, how strong the effects given to bees are, whether Wrath of the Hive can trigger outside The Bumblezone, show effect particles, or simply completely disable the effect. Lots of options! Take a look at the in-game settings and JSON files and let me know if there are any configuration options that would be very useful for you with this mod. :)
Also a fun fact! If you use a datapack and create a biome under the "the_bumblezone" namespace, this mod will recognize the namespace and spawn that biome in the dimension!!
The dimension ID is the_bumblezone:the_bumblezone if you need it. Also, if you need the ID of any Bumblezone block, item, or biome to add to other mods' configuration files, check the en_us.json file here, as the ID names of everything are listed there. For example, "block.the_bumblezone.porous_honeycomb_block" would be read as the_bumblezone:porous_honeycomb_block for the ID.
