Introduction to the Mod
Have you ever thought that cacti in Minecraft could be useful for more than just making green dye? This modification transforms ordinary cacti into a full-fledged gameplay resource, opening up numerous new possibilities!
Unique Items and Functionality
The mod adds tools, armor, blocks, and food made from cacti, each with its own unique features:
Cactus Chests: Have the same storage capacity as regular chests, but they gradually destroy items over time.
Cactus Hopper: A more accessible version of the standard hopper that slowly removes items from its inventory.
Cactus Dispenser: Has no storage and instead shoots spikes.
Cactus TNT: Instead of breaking blocks, it shoots spikes in all horizontal directions.
Cactus Carpet: Damages mobs that touch it. It won't destroy items on top of it until they have been there for 2 minutes.
Cactus Bricks: Decorative green-colored brick blocks with stairs and slabs variants.
Cactus Door: Works like a standard door but deals damage when interacted with.
Carved Cactus: A decorative block shaped like a pumpkin.
John O' Lantern: A cactus version of the light-emitting Jack O' Lantern.
Cactus Cake: Damages the player when eaten!
Cactus Cart: Works faster and requires fewer resources to craft compared to regular minecarts.
New Mobs
Cactus Golem: A more accessible version of the iron golem. To summon it, you build the structure of an iron golem but with prickly iron blocks instead of iron blocks and a carved cactus or John O' Lantern instead of the pumpkin.
