The Dragon Says
A small but functional mod that allows players to play various sounds on demand. Four sound effects are available in total: Ender Dragon roar, cat purr, cat hiss, and wolf growl.
Sound Controls
For convenient use, each sound is assigned its own hotkey. By default, these are numbers 0-3 on the numeric keypad. You can easily reassign these keys in the control settings.
Sound Customization
The mod offers an advanced system for adjusting sound parameters:
- Pitch is automatically adjusted based on the character's maximum health and configuration values
- Volume also depends on the maximum health level
- Alternative pitch mode allows changing the sound based on the direction of view: looking up makes the sound higher, looking down makes it lower
Configuration
All settings are completely client-side, allowing each player to create their own unique "voice". Changes in configuration are applied automatically when using the sounds next time. If changes don't take effect immediately, simply edit the config again.
Additional Features
You can completely replace the standard sounds by adding a resource pack and modifying the sounds.json file to redirect custom sound events to other files. Individual sounds for different players are not currently supported.
