Behavior Features of The Growling Man
The Growling Man in action:
The Growling Man prefers to hunt from a distance - he can appear in your field of view and simply observe the player, then disappear or hide. However, the situation changes if the character becomes "marked" - a special status that attracts this entity.
What attracts The Growling Man? Sorrow and grief. For example, if a raid is happening in a village, the concentration of suffering will draw his attention. In such an environment, he may go on a rampage and attack all living things in his path.
When the entity rapidly approaches you, there's a risk of mental exhaustion. If not addressed in time, this can lead to the character's quick death.
To defend yourself, you must clear your mind, but do so carefully - acting too hastily can trigger a mental breakdown that will provoke the enemy to attack.
The Growling Man often takes refuge in caves and shows interest in your activities. Sometimes he just sits in the darkness and watches.
He can also materialize when you open your inventory. If you don't close it in time, the entity will appear nearby and attack.
