What is The Legend of Steve?
The Legend of Steve is a modification I've been working on for some time with the goal of implementing Zelda series elements into Minecraft in a way that fits organically into the game. This project has been an opportunity for me to master more complex modding aspects and immerse myself in retro nostalgia for classic Zelda games. Most of the mod's content is based on features from older games in the series with the addition of original elements for a harmonious blend of both worlds.
World Generation

New natural objects appear in the world:
- Loot Grass - grows in grassy biomes, can be cut with a sword to obtain useful items: emerald shards, arrows, magic jars, and fairies
- Bomb Flowers - found underground near lava, yield bombs when harvested, and sometimes drop seeds when destroyed
- Small Dungeons - occasionally generate underground and contain exclusive loot, requiring bombs for entry (current dungeon design is not final)
New Interesting Items

The mod adds many new items inspired by the Legend of Zelda series:
- Bombs - non-destructive explosive devices that can also break cracked bricks
- Bombchus - bombs capable of climbing walls
- Boomerangs - throwing weapons with three upgrade levels and a new enchantment
- Hookshots - grappling hooks that stick to any wooden blocks
- Fairy Bells - give the player a fairy companion with the ability to change color and enable voices from Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask
And much more! There are also magical items that consume mana - a resource the player can obtain from...
Falling Stars

Sometimes at night, falling stars drop from the sky with a characteristic sound (inspired by Breath of the Wild). They can be used immediately to get a small amount of mana or used to create new magical items and improved consumables for increasing mana reserves.
Another nighttime event is meteor showers, which increase the chance of falling stars appearing around the player by 10 times!
There's already a lot of interesting content in the mod, so I highly recommend trying it out to see other cool features.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is the mod marked as beta?
A: The mod isn't finished yet, I have many plans for its development, but this is an early release since I wanted to take a break from working on it.
Q: Why isn't "such and such item" in the mod?
A: It will probably be added later, I just haven't gotten to it yet! I'm also open to suggestions for adding new items.
Q: You mentioned dungeons in the FAQ, what's that about?
A: There are plans to add dungeons similar to NES versions, but due to wanting to take a break, I decided to postpone this feature. This is exactly why some mobs in the mod (such as Beamos or Bubbles) don't spawn naturally.
Q: Deadly, port to Forge, it's the best!

A: Seriously though, a port to Forge might happen, or it might not. Right now I don't want to work on it, especially when the mod isn't finished yet.
