This content was specifically created for the third Datapack Jam, where the main theme was "Corruption".

At the farthest reaches of our universe lurks a powerful but terrifying force that slowly consumes worlds, altering and distorting their essence. Entire civilizations have been swallowed by this endless thirst for destruction, fueling eternal madness. It waits, hides, and craves in the darkness. — Sage Wulfian

The Otherside represents a dimension completely overtaken and transformed by sculk. This is a world with deep lore that expands upon the history of ancient cities and the deep dark.

Embark on an exploration of The Otherside to discover powerful legendary artifacts. However, be cautious: the longer you remain in this dimension, the more corrupted you become by its influence!

Game Guide

The Otherside is designed for experienced players who have completed the main game. It is assumed that by the time you enter this dimension, you will already have a full set of diamond equipment.

To enter The Otherside, you need a Warden's Key. This item drops upon defeating the Warden. Place the key in the Ancient City, and it will activate the portal.

Once in the dimension, plan your time wisely. Survival here presents a serious challenge.

Try to avoid prolonged exposure to water—it is toxic to your character.

Exit portals are scattered throughout the dimension.

Items and Artifacts

If you want to explore the items from the datapack without playing through the entire game, use this command in an open area: /place template sculk:demo

Numerous legendary items can be found in loot chests or obtained as drops from mobs.

Some items require additional explanation:

Enhanced Bundles: These bundles can hold significantly more items compared to regular ones. To fill a bundle, crouch and right-click. To extract items, use right-click without crouching.

Bundles automatically ignore items that cannot be stacked or only stack up to 16.

If you hold a bundle in your offhand and scroll through the hotbar, you can select specific items to extract.

Inventory Roller: Hold this item in your offhand, crouch, and scroll through the hotbar to switch between inventory rows.

Item Magnet: Hold the magnet in your offhand and crouch to attract nearby items. It has limited uses but repairs with experience.

Totems: Most totems provide special effects when held in the character's hands.

Additionally, many other legendary weapons and items can be found in the dimension that do not require special explanations.
