This is an alternative version of The Twilight Forest mod adapted for Fabric 1.20.1, created with participation from IAFENVoy. It's important to note that this release uses outdated and unofficial sound effects. If you wish to use custom sounds, you'll need to install a dedicated resource pack.

Twilight Forest is a comprehensive dimension exploration mod focused on adventure. It will transport you on an amazing journey where you'll encounter unusual creatures, explore dungeons, and uncover countless secrets. Key features include:

• Unique treasures and equipment with special properties
• Cult status: original 2011 mod

Getting Started

To enter the twilight forest, you first need to construct a special portal. After activating it, you'll be able to freely explore the new dimension.

The portal structure can be of any shape and size - the provided image shows only the minimum requirements. The portal will function when three conditions are met:

1. The frame must be built from natural blocks: grass, dirt, podzol, mycelium, and similar materials
2. Flowers, mushrooms, leaves, or other plants must be placed on the frame's surface
3. The entire interior area must be filled with water

Legal Information

The project is distributed under dual licensing: LGPL-2.1 and CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Source code is licensed under LGPL-2.1, same as the original version. Non-code resources are protected by CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, similar to the source project. However, most sound files are taken from the Twilight Forest version for Minecraft 1.7.10, which are licensed under LGPL-2.1, creating some legal ambiguity.
