Thermal Shock - The Frozen Kingdom of Loqendia

Thermal Shock is a developing mod with an emphasis on progression and combat system that adds a new dimension - Loqendia, the Endless Garden. What was once a flourishing green world has now turned into an icy wasteland teeming with legions of undead and hostile factions.

The "Tempest" update significantly expands the thunderstorm system in Loqendia, adding new creatures with unique mechanics, a formidable pair of mini-bosses, and a shiny set of powerful tools!

How to Enter Loqendia

Access to the dimension is opened using a Keystone, which you will need to find at the beginning of the game. Using it on a 3x3 obsidian platform will create the Atlas, opening a portal to Loqendia.

New Dimension

Loqendia is an extensive frozen territory with diverse new flora and fauna. Here you can find bright wood types and numerous stone varieties. Various animals inhabit the surface, while hordes of hostile creatures and ancient constructions hide underground.

Ores and Resources

The main set of tools and armor in Thermal Shock is crafted from ruby ore, which in characteristics approximately corresponds to diamond level. Other ores have more specialized applications or are not tied to a specific equipment level.

Zenith Upgrades

Zenith Smithing Templates are used to unlock set bonuses of Loqendian armor, providing the owner with a passive enhancement when wearing a complete set of zenith equipment. They can occasionally be found in most structures.

Alternative Ore Generation

Not all worlds generate the same set of ores. Currently, this only applies to ruby, which in some worlds may be replaced with bloodstone. Besides appearance, the main difference between alternative ores lies in their zenith effect. Alternative ores can be converted into their counterparts and vice versa. All ores are also available through structure loot.

Fabricator

A special crafting station using a non-traditional system. Instead of requiring a specific shape on a grid, fabricator recipes require large amounts of materials that are taken directly from your inventory. Items created using the fabricator range from specialized armor pieces to heavy firearms.
