Third Law - Physics Laws in Minecraft!
Welcome realism enthusiasts! The Third Law modification implements Newton's third law into the game - now every action has an equal and opposite reaction. When you throw items or launch projectiles, you get pushed back in the opposite direction!
Most non-stackable items and all types of projectiles have their individual recoil parameters, while other objects use standard values. The system is fully customizable through datapacks - you can independently adjust values for any modified blocks and items!
For fine-tuning, the mod offers three game rules:
- Management of recoil from items
- Control of recoil from projectiles
- Option requiring being in the air for the effect to trigger
Interesting fact: projectile recoil affects not only the player but also mobs! Pillagers, blazes, skeletons - they all experience the physical consequences of their attacks.
