Thirdlife RTS - Strategic Battles in Minecraft
Immerse yourself in the world of tactical battles with the Thirdlife RTS mod, which brings elements of classic real-time strategies to your survival experience. Create miniature battlefields, command armies, and fight for dominance in compact but intense battles.
Main Features:
Two opposing factions to choose from: humans and piglins
Seven ready-made maps for quick start
Various types of units and buildings
Game Start:
To begin, you'll need to craft several special items: Warmonger's Manual, Control Crystal, Command Staff, Builder's Mallet, and Game Master. The Manual contains a brief guide to the modification and allows you to choose your side and team color.
Create your own battlefield using regular blocks. Remember that gold is required to train troops, so plan for a gold mine location. Suitable blocks for mining: gold ore, deepslate gold ore, nether gold ore, gilded blackstone, gold block, and raw gold block.
Determine starting positions using right-click with the mallet and build a castle, which will become your main base. Protecting the castle is your top priority!
After placing the Game Master and activating it with a right-click, the match will begin. You'll receive starting gold and two workers for construction.
Troop Management:
Select units using the Control Crystal and move them with the Command Staff. Use the Builder's Mallet to construct buildings, but remember that a worker must be nearby. Gold mines can only be placed on gold-containing blocks, and mana extractors can only be placed on lapis blocks and ore.
Building Types:
Barracks - training warriors and archers
Towers - protecting territories from enemy units
Farms - increase gold yield by 0.33 and tax income by 0.5
Magic Barracks - preparing sorcerers and tanks
Faction Features:
Each side has unique units with special abilities. Sorcerers possess powerful attacks with long cooldown times, while tanks have high durability and prefer attacking buildings.
Army Composition:
Humans: workers, knights, archers, wizards, golems
Piglins: goons, brutes, crossbowmen, pygromancers, hoglins
To end the match, reactivate the Game Master - all constructions will disappear.
Admin Commands:
/rtsgivegold and /rtsgivemana allow transferring gold/mana to allies
Game rules StartGoldAmount and WorkerAmount determine initial resource amounts and workers.
