Throwable Fire Charges

Mod Description

This data pack introduces throwable fire charges called fireballs into the game. The concept was inspired by the popular BedWars mode on the Hypixel server. To craft this weapon, you'll need a crafting table: place a bow in the center slot, surround it with four fire charges, and put two gunpowder and two ghast tears in opposite corners. A visual recipe image can be found in the gallery.

Installation Guide

Navigate to your game's saves folder. On Windows, it's located at the following path:

C:\Users(your name)\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\saves

Place the zipped file in the data packs folder, then reload your world or execute the /reload command.

Optionally, you can install an additional resource pack. To do this, open the Minecraft main menu, select "Options," go to the "Resource Packs" section, open the corresponding folder, and copy the resource pack file there. Returning to the game, hover over the pack and click the right arrow to activate it.

Important Features

When using game versions prior to 1.21, the crafting recipe changes: instead of a bow in the center of the crafting table, you need to place a dispenser.

Installing the resource pack is not mandatory. Without it, fireballs will appear as snowballs but will fully retain their functionality.
