
Time Feeds: Villager
This mod dramatically expands villager behavior by adding new realistic mechanics and customization options.
Functional Features
Aging and Death System
Villagers age over time! After reaching adulthood, they will live for only 2 hours in real time, then die of old age. However, you can prevent this unfortunate event by feeding a villager a golden apple or an enchanted golden apple. Simply right-click on them while holding the apple.
Hunger Mechanics
Every 10 minutes, villagers experience hunger and begin actively searching for food around them. In a hungry state, they are completely unable to trade with the player, so keep an eye on their needs.
When a villager finds food, they take it directly into their hands and begin eating - this process differs from the standard breeding mechanics in vanilla gameplay. If you're currently trading with someone, don't worry - during this time, hunger temporarily doesn't bother them.
Personalization
Unique Appearance
The mod offers many different skins for villagers! You can customize each inhabitant's appearance through a special interface. By default, only standard skins from the base game are used.
Breeding and Behavior
Important Conditions
For villagers to breed, both potential parents must be in "stay mode."
Extra Inventory
You can open a special additional inventory for villagers by crouching and right-clicking on them. This system includes eight slots where you can store items and take them back.
This convenient feature is particularly useful for managing villager hunger: if there's food in their inventory, they'll eat that first, and only if it runs out will they go searching for food.
Behavior Modes
You can set two main behavior modes: "work mode" and "stay mode." Villagers in stay mode will never attempt to work or attend community meetings.
