Tinkers' Levelling Addon
About the Modification
This is an unofficial addon for Tinkers' Construct mod, created for modern Minecraft versions. The project is inspired by the original Tinkers' Tool Leveling addon for version 1.12.2, but offers a completely new approach to tool development.
Core Mechanics
The mod adds a special "Improvable" modifier that allows your tools and armor to gain experience and level up. Unlike the original version, the leveling system is not activated by default - you need to apply this modifier separately to each piece of equipment.
After application, tools start accumulating experience for performing their primary functions: mining, harvesting, dealing damage, and other actions. Armor gains experience when taking damage or using the Thorns modifier.
Important Note: Since Tinkers' Construct is originally built around a limited number of modifier slots and characteristics, this addon dramatically changes the game balance!
Features
- Tool leveling through performing relevant actions
- Armor development when taking damage
- Gaining additional modifier slots and improving characteristics upon leveling up
- Customizing the order of bonus acquisition during leveling (or random selection)
- Setting maximum level or enabling infinite progression
- Adjusting experience requirements and sources
- Customizing level-up sounds and messages
Getting Started
To activate the leveling system, apply the "Improvable" modifier to the desired tool or armor piece. Since this is considered endgame content, the standard recipe requires significant resources: a Nether Star and 4 bottles of enchanting. Creation also requires a Tinker's Anvil and one ability slot.
After applying the modifier, your tool is ready for leveling - start gathering resources, chopping trees, and fighting mobs!
To view current progress and obtained bonuses, hold the Alt key.
