TinyInv

TinyInv is a Minecraft modification that enables fine-tuning of available inventory and hotbar slots on a per-player basis. Key features include:

• Reducing the number of main inventory slots
• Decreasing or increasing the number of hotbar slots
• Disabling the offhand slot
• Blocking individual armor slots
• Deactivating crafting slots

Settings can be applied globally for all players through configuration files, or individually for specific players using attribute modifiers. The mod also includes a built-in system for adding attribute modifiers to existing items and status effects via datapacks.

Usage

By default, the mod doesn't introduce visible changes to the game. Activation requires preliminary configuration through server settings and datapacks.

Compatibility

The mod replaces "disabled" slots in all containers with "fake slots" that cannot be interacted with. This ensures compatibility with most other modifications (except when they fundamentally alter container functionality). Although the player's inventory size technically remains unchanged, items located in "disabled" slots are automatically ejected. By default, the mod hides unused slots, but this feature can be disabled in the client configuration file (disabled_slot_overlay parameter).
