Tool and Placement Tweaks - Tool and Block Placement Settings
This modification package offers complete control over the mechanics of breaking and placing blocks in Minecraft. You'll be able to finely tune various aspects of interaction with the game world, making the process more realistic and balanced.
Main Features
One of the key features is the system that accounts for block hardness when calculating tool wear. Harder materials like obsidian will wear down your tools significantly faster compared to regular blocks. You can independently configure the wear coefficient to achieve the desired balance.
The mod also introduces an energy cost system for breaking blocks. Now every resource gathering activity will require a certain amount of your character's hunger and exhaustion. All parameters are fully customizable - you can set precise energy cost values for different types of activities.
Additional Settings
Block breaking speed is also subject to fine-tuning. You can set a general speed multiplier for all blocks or configure separate parameters for each tool type. This allows you to create a unique resource gathering system that matches your preferences.
Future Updates
In development plans - adding an energy cost system for placing blocks, as well as accounting for block hardness when calculating energy costs for their placement.
