You're already familiar with the ability to decorate armor with patterns, but what about weapons and tools? This data pack opens up completely new horizons for customizing your arsenal!

Main Features

How to Get Started

For Creative Mode

New templates and the Toolsmithing Table don't appear in the standard creative menu. Enable the "Operator Items Tab" option in control settings or use the command /function tooltrims:custom_items, which will create a chest with all special items.

Toolsmithing Table

This block is used for decorating tools and copying pattern templates. The interface is similar to a smithing table. Crafting recipe: 2 copper ingots and 4 wooden planks.

Finding Templates

Each template can be found in specific structures:

Creating Patterns

Weapons and tools are decorated using the Toolsmithing Table. 10 different materials are available for creating patterns:

• Amethyst Shard
• Copper Ingot
• Diamond
• Emerald
• Gold Ingot
• Iron Ingot
• Lapis Lazuli
• Netherite Ingot
• Quartz
• Redstone Dust

By combining templates and materials, you can create over 1400 unique combinations!

Achievements

• Shiny Tools - obtained by creating your first decorated tool
• Tools of All Styles - reward for applying all four pattern templates

Commands

• /function tooltrims:custom_items - creates a chest with all templates and the Toolsmithing Table
• /function tooltrims:load - reloads the data pack, useful when problems occur
• /trigger update_item - updates old versions of decorated tools (removed in v2.3.1, from this version updating happens automatically)

Installation

Data Pack & Resource Pack:

1. Download the "Data Pack & Resource Pack" version
2. Go to Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder
3. Copy and paste the downloaded file, then activate it
4. Select a world and go to Edit → Open World Folder → datapacks
5. Copy and paste the downloaded file there as well

Version for Mod Loaders:

1. Download the "Packaged for Mod Loaders" version
2. Make sure you have Forge, NeoForge, Fabric or Quilt installed
3. Go to the "mods" folder (Mods → Open Mods Folder)
4. Paste the downloaded file

Frequently Asked Questions

I keep getting the Toolsmithing Table, how to fix? This error occurs when using "Unlock all recipes" data packs. Disable them.

Can I use this data pack in my modpack/server? Yes, you can use it in your modpack or on a server.

Can I make posts/videos using this data pack? Yes, if this data pack is the main or one of the main topics of your content.
