Tool Compat

Tool Compat is a practical mod that ensures compatibility between various types of tools and materials from other mods. It fills gaps by allowing the creation of tools from materials that originally lacked corresponding tool sets.

Tools

The mod adds support for the following tools:

• Knives from Farmer's Delight
• Machetes from Nether's Delight
• Snow shovels from Frosted Friends
• Various weapons from Simple Weapons for Better Combat, including scythes, greatswords, spears, daggers, katars, scimitars, crowbills, and katanas

Materials

Tools are available from the following materials:

• Copper, zinc, and brass from Create (requires Create Stuff & Additions)
• Steel from Create: Alloyed
• Ice from Frosted Friends
• Pendorite from Oh The Biomes You'll Go
• Electrum from Oreganized
• Warden material from Deeper and Darker
• Tungsten and chorundum from Stalwart Dungeons
• Rose gold and gilded netherite from Additional Additions
• Adamantite from Enlightened
• Diopside, aquite, pyrope, charoite, and horizonite from Blue Skies

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Does the mod add full tool sets for materials that don't have them?

Answer: No, the mod only fills existing gaps. For example, to work with materials from Create, the Create Stuff & Additions mod is required because Create itself does not add tools.

Question: Can material X be added for tool Y?

Answer: Currently, there are no plans to add new materials or tools in the near future.
