Trample Everything (Legacy Fabric)

The mod significantly changes how players interact with the world around them by expanding the standard plant trampling mechanic. In default Minecraft, only crops can be damaged — this mod extends that functionality to many other blocks.

Functionality

Now when walking and running, players can accidentally destroy various natural objects, making the world more realistic and dynamic. The mod offers a high degree of customization to suit each player's personal preferences.

Blocks destroyed by default:

  • Agricultural crops
  • Dead bushes
  • Double plants (e.g., tall flowers)
  • Various types of flowers
  • Mushrooms and nether fungi
  • Nether roots and sprouts
  • Nether wart
  • Tree saplings
  • Sea pickles
  • Stems (pumpkin and melon)
  • Tall grass

Blocks preserved by default:

  • Snow
  • Bamboo saplings
  • Lily pads
  • Sea grass
  • Sugar cane
  • Sweet berry bushes

Configuration

The mod provides extensive configuration options through the settings file:

Main settings:

  • _enableTrampledBlockItems (default = true) — when a block is destroyed, items drop as if the player broke it by hand
  • _crouchingPreventsTrampling (default = true) — crouching completely protects from accidental block damage

Individual block settings:

  • Can individually enable/disable trampling for each block type, including snow, lily pads, sugar cane, and others

Working Examples

[видео] Grass display: demonstration of sprinting to trample grass and flowers while running.

[видео] Nether: the new mechanic's operation in the Nether.

[видео] Farmland functionality: damage to tilled soil.

[видео] Protective measures: crouching allows complete avoidance of accidental block destruction.

Technical Requirements

The mod requires Collective (Fabric) and Fabric API to function.
