Innovative Approach to Farmland Protection
Presenting a modern solution for Fabric that fundamentally changes the trampling mechanics in Minecraft. This mod offers a reasonable alternative to the traditional system, making interaction with farms more realistic and thoughtful.
Key Features
Forget about random transformation of tilled land into ordinary dirt when landing! Now you can safely land on beds if you're wearing leather boots or any footwear with the "Feather Falling" enchantment at any level. This mechanic works similarly to snow cover behavior.
The system uses item tags and enchantment tags, allowing you to add any other footwear or additional enchantments to the list of protected equipment elements.
Realistic Consequences of Walking on Crops
Plants can now break when walked on - this forces players to be more careful about organizing their fields. By default, there's a 5% chance of crop breakage.
Plant growth can temporarily stop when trampled. The base probability of growth slowdown is 80%, with a 10% chance of removing the growth stop effect each time growth is attempted.
Crop Protection Methods
You can avoid both plant breakage and growth slowdown using the same methods as protecting land from trampling when landing, or simply by moving while sneaking.
These mechanics also apply to all mobs if the "Mob Griefing" option is enabled in world rules.
Complete Customizability
The mod is fully configurable - you can enable only the changes you like and disable unwanted features.
Compatibility and Usage
The mod works on servers and doesn't require installation on the client if used on a server. You can freely include it in your modpacks.
