Trapper Pelts - Hunting Traps for Survival

When harsh winter cold sets in, finding materials to create warm clothing becomes a matter of survival. This mod offers an alternative way to obtain leather through the use of special hunting traps.

How Bear Traps Work

Players can create and set up powerful bear traps around their base. When any creature comes into contact with such a trap, it instantly snaps shut, dealing significant damage. If the victim dies from the trap, it leaves behind either rabbit hides or regular leather - depending on the mob type.

Key Features

Traps are placed directly under the player's feet when used. After installation, the trap activates after 4 seconds (this time may increase with server lag). Any creature that dies in a trap leaves additional loot: small mobs, players, Ender Dragons, and Withers provide rabbit hides, while all others give regular leather. The trap deals 22.5 damage when triggered. Used traps can be recharged several times by simply right-clicking on them. If necessary, traps can be destroyed by attacking them.
