Trash's Mooblooms - Flower Cows in Minecraft

This mod brings back Mooblooms - amazing cows with flowers on their backs that were previously featured in Minecraft Earth!

In this modification, you'll find a total of 16 varieties of Mooblooms, each corresponding to a specific color from the Minecraft palette. On the back of each such cow grows a unique flower that cannot be found in the regular game:

  • White (Thunderbloom)
  • Light Gray (Bellflower)
  • Gray (Silver Iris)
  • Black (Withercup)
  • Brown (Boat Orchid)
  • Red (Trillium)
  • Orange (Butterfly Weed)
  • Yellow (Buttercups)
  • Lime (Conbush)
  • Green (Gladioli)
  • Cyan (Centians)
  • Light Blue (Myosotis)
  • Blue (Dayflowers)
  • Purple (Morning Glory)
  • Magenta (Butterfly Candy)
  • Pink (Tropical Hibiscus)

It's important to note that not all types of Mooblooms can be found in the wild. Only yellow, blue, and red varieties appear naturally. Most other color variants can only be obtained by breeding existing Mooblooms to mix their colors.

Similar to mushroom cows, Mooblooms can be sheared to collect flowers from their backs. However, unlike mushroom cows, Mooblooms do not turn into regular cows after shearing. Instead, they restore their flowers 20 minutes after the procedure.

One of the interesting features is the ability to dye items. If you right-click a Moobloom with a dyeable item in hand, it will be dyed the corresponding color!

Mooblooms also interact with bees - they help them with pollination. The cows like this, so they stand still while the bees do their work :)

FOR MODPACK AND DATAPACK DEVELOPERS

This mod includes 17 biome tags. #trashs_mooblooms:moobloom_spawnable, as well as one tag for each color in the format: #trashs_mooblooms:<color>_moobloom_spawnable.

Biomes included in #trashs_mooblooms:moobloom_spawnable can generate Mooblooms.

Biomes in #trashs_mooblooms:<color>_moobloom_spawnable determine the specific color of Mooblooms that spawn in the assigned biomes. If multiple colors are available, the choice will be random. Biomes from these tags are automatically added to #trashs_mooblooms:moobloom_spawnable. If you add a biome to #trashs_mooblooms:moobloom_spawnable without including it in other tags, the Moobloom color will default to yellow.

There is also a block tag #trashs_mooblooms:moobloom_spawnable_on. These blocks determine which surfaces Mooblooms can naturally spawn on. By default, it's set to #minecraft:animals_spawn_on.

NOTE: MOST COW TEXTURES ARE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REMADE.
