Traveler's Dream

Immerse yourself in the traveler's dream world! Traveler's Dream is a preset for random world generation created using the Open Terrain Generator mod. This project offers you smooth and contrasting landscapes that look very realistic while retaining the charm of Minecraft.
Main Features
Vast World
- 16 climate zones with unique flora and landscapes
- 747 biomes in total (750 in Thaumcraft version)
- 1175 custom objects (trees, rocks, and other elements)
- 230+ significant biomes, each consisting of several technical biomes
Climate Zones
From icy expanses to tropical jungles - Traveler's Dream covers all Earth's climate belts:
- Ice Zone - fantastic frozen lands
- Snowy Zone - lands of eternal winter
- Cold Zone - inspired by Iceland
- Boreal Zone - taiga in all its glory
- Temperate Zone - comfortable climate and diverse flora
- Classic Zone - familiar Minecraft style
- Normal Zone - unusual and cool biomes
- Lush Zone - warm and unique biomes
- Warm Zone - Mediterranean landscapes
- East Zone - breathtaking landscapes of Southern Asia
- West Zone - Wild West, steppes and red deserts
- Arid Zone - African savannas and tropical forests
- Desert Zone - giant sandy lands
- Tropical Zone - paradise islands with palms
- Jungle Zone - spirit of prehistoric times
- Ocean Zone - deep and large oceans
Ore Generation
Ore generation has been modified in different zones:
- Mountains have more frequent iron ore (up to y=140)
- Swampy biomes are rich in coal
- Arid and western zones are rich in gold
- Arid and boreal zones are rich in diamonds
- Cold zone is rich in redstone
- Jungle zone is rich in gold and lapis
Installation
Client
Place the downloaded .jar files of Traveler's Dream and OTG into the "mods" folder.
Server
Place the .jar files of Traveler's Dream and OTG into the server's "mods" folder. Delete old "world" folders if they exist. In the server.properties file, edit the lines:
level-type=OTG
level-name=TravelersDream
For compact version:
level-name=TravelersDreamCompact
Compact Version
Due to numerous complaints about insufficient free biome IDs, a compact version of the preset was created. It preserves 99% of biomes but frees up about 40 IDs, providing a total of about 80 free IDs for other mods.

Recommended Mods
- Treecapitator - for convenient cutting of large trees
- TellMe - for obtaining information about biomes and entities
- Optifine - for working with the resource pack
Important Information
- JEID doesn't work with OTG
- Most biomes are virtual and inherit characteristics from parent biomes
- Use commands
/otg tp {biome name}or/otg biometo find biomes
Special Versions
Thaumic Traveler's Dream
Special version for better compatibility with Thaumcraft mod, adding magical features and Magical Forest biome.
Traveler's Dream Resource Pack
Lightweight resource pack that makes biomes more authentic to their real prototypes. Compatible with any other resource packs.

- Virtual biomes: 256-809
- Free IDs: 206-255

OTG Commands
