Trident Enchantments Overhaul
This modification completely overhauls the enchantment system for tridents, introducing radical changes to their functionality.
Main Changes
The Impaling enchantment has undergone significant changes. Instead of increasing damage exclusively to aquatic mobs, each level now adds +1 damage point against all creatures. But that's not all - any level of this enchantment allows the trident to pierce through enemies, dealing damage to every affected mob if they are positioned at sufficient distance from the previous target.
The Loyalty enchantment received a fundamentally new mechanics. Instead of returning the thrown trident to the player's hand, it now remains in the inventory after throwing, similar to how the "Infinity" enchantment works for bows. However, it's worth noting that, as with infinite arrows, you won't be able to pick up tridents thrown by weapons with this enchantment.
The Riptide modification now protects the player from falling. After launch into flight, the player receives a 5-second slow falling effect, completely eliminating fall damage.
The Channeling enchantment effect has become much more predictable - lightning now strikes the target in 100% of cases, without any conditions or limitations.
Compatibility
If you have the Enchantment Descriptions mod installed, the text descriptions of all modified enchantments will be automatically updated in accordance with the new mechanics.
