Trims Expanded - Enhanced Armor Customization

This datapack significantly expands armor customization options in Minecraft by adding numerous new materials and patterns for decorating armor.

New Trim Materials

Various materials have been added that can be used to create unique patterns on armor:

• Armadillo Scute
• Breeze Rod
• Coal
• Dragon's Breath
• Echo Shard
• Enchanted Golden Apple
• Ender Pearl
• Fire Charge
• Glowstone Dust
• Leather
• Nether Brick
• Poisonous Potato
• Popped Chorus Fruit
• Prismarine Shard
• Rabbit Hide
• Slime Ball

Each material gives armor a unique visual effect and color scheme.

New Trim Patterns

Various patterns are available that can be found in different locations throughout the game world:

• Danger - from mossy cobblestone, found in dungeons
• Plated - from smooth stone, in weaponsmith/armorer chests
• Shell - from sandstone, in buried treasure
• Margin - from smooth stone, in weaponsmith chests
• Verdant - from packed mud, from sniffer digging
• Heart - from pink concrete, from cat morning gifts
• ??? - from emerald block, crafted
• ??? - from netherrack, crafted
• ??? - from gold block, crafted

Compatibility

The datapack is compatible with:

• Trimmable Tools - allows decorating tools (patterns currently don't work with tools)
• Elytra Trims - adds trim decorations for elytra (only before version 1.21.2)
• More Armor Trims - additional armor patterns
• TaTe's Extra Trims - additional trims
• Frost Armour Trim - ice-themed trims
• Alex's Caves - cave additions

Important: The corresponding resource pack is required for the datapack to function. When using multiple resource packs, place Trims Expanded above the others.

Crafting Hints

Examine the images in the gallery closely - you can find hints about the required items for crafting. Use these items instead of templates in crafting recipes!
