TrulyRandom - Random World
System Modules:
Activate TrulyRandom modules in the "Other" tab during world creation or directly in-game by pressing the g
key or using the /trulyrandom server
command.
Visual Changes:
Block Textures: All block models are replaced with similar alternatives. Replacements maintain original properties and shape to prevent visual artifacts and "x-ray" capabilities.
Item Models: Each item model is replaced with a random alternative. The only exceptions are the trident and spyglass, which have hardcoded graphics.
Game Mechanics:
Loot Tables: All loot tables are completely replaced with random analogs, making every discovery unexpected.
Crafting Recipes: Any recipe produces the result of another random recipe. This applies even to special recipes like suspicious stew preparation or armor decoration.
Villager Trading: Villagers accept and offer any items from the game. Randomization is based on the module seed and villager ID, so each trader will have a unique set of offers regardless of profession.
World Structures: All restrictions on structure placement are removed, allowing them to generate anywhere in the world.
World Features: Coming soon!
Important Notes:
- "Structures" and "Features" modules can only be enabled/disabled during world creation, not during gameplay
- The
/trulyrandom settings Player
command configures client modules for the specified player, allowing individual randomization of item and block models
Tracking System:
Each module includes trackers to help monitor changes as you progress.
Loot Tracker:
- Opened via the red book in the survival inventory
- Shows items for which you've activated loot tables (even if the item didn't drop)
- Each entry opens a graph displaying acquisition sources with depth up to 20 levels
- Hovering over a source shows the complete path to the item
- Holding Shift while hovering over an item reveals which loot tables you've discovered for that item
Other trackers coming soon!
