Mod Overview

TubeStuff is a compact mod that adds several practical blocks for automating various processes in the game.

Buffer Block

This block significantly simplifies item transfer between different types of pipes and conveyors. One of its key features is stacking items together, which helps reduce system load.

The buffer can be filled either through pipes or manually, similar to a regular chest.

When connected to a wooden, gold, or basic logistics pipe, the buffer will transfer one stack of items every few seconds. Transfer speed depends on the number of empty slots - from 5 seconds when empty to 0.5 seconds when full.

If you place a filter with its input side facing the buffer, it will generate a redstone signal to activate the filter at the same frequency as item transfers.

Automatic Crafting Table MkII

When opening the crafting table interface, you'll see four main areas: top input zone (9×5), bottom inventory panel, left recipe area (3×3), and right output slot for finished items.

To operate:

• Set the recipe in the crafting area. The absence of an item in the output slot is normal.
• Load ingredients through pipes connected to any side of the table. Each side and the bottom correspond to a separate row in the input zone.
• Place a filter or transposer above the table facing downward. Applying a redstone signal activates extraction of the finished item, after which creation of the next one begins immediately if ingredients are available.
• Container items (such as buckets) automatically move to a special red input row and can be extracted from the bottom.

Additional features include a toggle between crafting modes for 1 and 64 items, a recipe clear button ("C"), and ore dictionary support ("OD").

The table is compatible with various rotation tools: RP2 screwdriver, Buildcraft and IC2 wrenches, as well as a stone hoe.

Black Hole Chest

This chest has infinite capacity for storing items.

Operation features: cannot navigate to non-existent pages, contents automatically compact when unloaded to eliminate empty slots.

Disabled by default in settings due to potential imbalance, but available through creative mode or commands.

Item Incinerator

Connects to pipes and permanently destroys all incoming items - a safe alternative to lava pits.

Duplicator

Functions as a chest with an infinite supply of a specific item. Intended for administrative needs on servers.

Available only to operators in multiplayer mode. The interface allows setting the item to duplicate and the maximum quantity per extraction.

Retrievulator

Automated system for maintaining supplies in inventories. Consists of three zones: R (relay), T (target items), and temporary slot.

Works with RedPower retrievers, compatible with various rotation tools. Operation speed adapts based on success rate.

Block Breaker

When equipped with a tool, breaks the block in front of it, mimicking player actions with durability consumption.

Liquid Modules

Include duplicator and incinerator for liquids. The liquid duplicator requires a liquid container to be set.

Player Detector

Activates redstone signal and turns green when the player who placed the block is online.

Storage Blocks

Adds compact blocks for storing various resources: silver, tin, copper, nikolite, coal, redstone, and alloys. Function similarly to vanilla metal blocks.

Some blocks require support from below to prevent falling. Settings allow disabling specific storage block types.
