Turtles Drop Scute
This mod introduces a simple but important change to the game mechanics - now turtles drop 1 turtle scute upon death. This adjustment aims to make the resource gathering system from turtles more balanced and logical.
If we draw an analogy, the mod's functionality resembles the mechanic of obtaining wool from sheep. Killing a sheep yields 1 wool block, but shearing provides significantly more resources. Similarly here - killing a turtle provides one scute, but the primary method of obtaining these valuable items remains unchanged.
Important to note: The mod does not remove the standard methods of obtaining turtle scutes. All original mechanics for acquiring this resource are preserved without changes.
From a technical perspective, the mod uses API to implement changes to the loot system, ensuring compatibility with other modifications. This is why it's implemented as a full mod rather than a datapack.
