Core Improvements
The mod includes numerous fixes and enhancements that make the game more balanced and enjoyable. Key changes include:
- Fixed breaking times for all blocks
- Ability to sprint while flying

Configurable Settings
The configuration file .minecraft/config/tweaked-adventure.json offers the following options:
Spawning Mechanics: Reversion to Beta 1.7 passive mob spawning system, optional passive mob despawning (disables breeding).
World Generation: Hilly biomes for varied terrain, biome height control with different presets, management of forest generation in plains.
Combat System: Backports of combat changes from version 1.0.0, updated hunger values from release 1.11+, experience curves and enchanting from version 1.3 with maximum level 30.
Other Settings: Oak saplings in swamp biomes grow into swamp trees, zombie pigmen drop cooked porkchops, configurable glass pane drop options, customizable experience bar with different display variants.
Recipes and Items: Cheaper recipes (e.g., 6 slabs, 3 ladders), stackable signs and doors, control over blocks Endermen can pick up.
Version-Specific Features: In Beta 1.8.1 - removal of oceans from plains edges, reduction of landmass size and distance; in Beta 1.9-pre+ - various snowy taiga options, restoration of lush swamp colors, snow under leaves, snow replacing tall grass for smoother ice plains appearance; in Beta 1.9-pre-1.0.0 - magma cubes drop magma cream; in 1.2.5 - optional plank variants.
