Udlede
This mod provides a convenient tool for exporting untranslated text into localization files with automatic key generation. An excellent solution for content creators who want to organize translation systems in their projects.
Core Functionality
The mod allows saving raw text that hasn't been translated through the i18n system, converting it into Minecraft language file format. All data is recorded with preservation of original content and automatic creation of corresponding keys.
Export Command for FTBQuests
Use the /udlede ftbq export command to export all untranslated texts from the FTBQuests mod. This functionality covers various content types:
- Chapter titles and descriptions
- Reward tables
- Quests with their titles and descriptions
The result is saved at the path: <gameDir>/exported/ftbquest/en_us.lang in standard Minecraft language file format.
Important Working Features
Only untranslated texts are exported!
The function automatically ignores strings that already use translation keys, working exclusively with raw text.
New file creation with each export!
Each command execution leads to complete rewriting of the previous export in the target folder. It's recommended to manually create backups of important data.
Language File Integration
To use the created language files, the additional ResourceLoader mod is required, which ensures correct loading and application of translations in-game.
Expansion Plans
Developers are actively working on adding support for other popular mods:
- FTB Quest
- Better Questing Unofficial
- Patchouli
The possibility of exporting untranslated text from many other modifications for full localization system support in game projects is also being considered.
