Important Warning: Before installing Ultra Amplified Dimension, be sure to create a backup of your world! Due to a Mojang bug, when removing any dimension mods, the Nether and End dimensions may disappear from the game. Reinstalling the mod will not restore the dimensions.

For Server Owners: When creating a new world with this mod on a server, restart the server after world generation due to a Mojang bug that prevents JSON dimensions from being created during initial world generation on servers.

WHAT IS ULTRA AMPLIFIED?

Ultra Amplified Dimension is a mod that adds a new dimension with completely insane landscape generation! The land here transforms into floating platforms, and familiar biomes have undergone significant changes to perfectly fit this crazy terrain.

Trees grow beneath the earth layers, with light provided by blocks infused with Glowstone. Massive columns connect different levels together. Some biomes have been greatly improved - for example, Tall Birch Forest now generates massive 2x2 trees, and ocean biomes have become giant floating bowls of water!

Yes, this world also includes Nether and End biomes for greater variety. Even the Ice Mountains have transformed into Iced Terrain where all stone is replaced by ice!

You'll discover new structures like Mushroom Temples and Ice Spikes. When descending downward, you'll encounter a huge maze-like network of ravines leading to giant cave cavities with lava lakes at the bottom. This world is designed to be challenging and dangerous, but incredibly exciting to explore every corner! Don't forget to bring torches when exploring the lower levels.

HOW TO ENTER THIS WORLD?

To create a portal to this dimension, build a structure using 8 polished granite blocks, 10 polished andesite slabs, and 1 polished diorite block. Then use flint and steel on the polished diorite block to create the portal. Right-click on the portal block (without sneaking) to teleport to the Ultra Amplified Dimension!

The ability to sneak while clicking the portal allows you to place blocks on the portal itself. If you misplaced the portal, you can mine it with any tool or bare hands - when broken, it will drop as polished diorite.

MOD CONFIGURATION

One of the key features of this mod is the almost complete customization of world generation! For configuration, simply download the datapack that works for both Forge and Fabric, unzip it, edit the JSON files to your preferences, and place the datapack in your world's datapack folder.

MAIN DATAPACK FOLDERS

DIMENSION Contains the ultra_amplified_dimension.json file that creates the UAD dimension. Here you can edit biome sizes, sea level, structure frequency, and even world shape through noise parameters.

DIMENSION_TYPE Defines additional world properties: ambient light level, sky light presence, ultrawarm (evaporates placed water), bed functionality, and more.

LOOT_TABLES Controls the drop of UAD blocks and chest contents in dimension structures.

RECIPES Controls crafting recipes for glowing block variants.

STRUCTURES Contains NBT files of all UAD structures: Ice Spikes, Dungeons, Sun Shrines, Stonehenge, and others.

TAGS Contains tags for portal activation items and portal frame blocks that can be edited to use other blocks.

WORLDGEN The most important folder containing the main generation logic of UAD. Here you can edit biomes, caves, ravines, tree placement, ore frequency, and much more.
