Unbox
What is Unbox?
Unbox is a supplementary mod for Pixelmon that introduces a booster pack opening system to Minecraft, similar to collectible card games. Players can obtain special booster items that trigger unique animated sequences when opened, themed around various Pokémon types and legendary creatures.
System Features
Each booster rewards players with Pokémon featuring customizable parameters: drop rates, IV and EV stats, levels, and natures. This allows server owners to finely tune the balance and rarity of obtained Pokémon. The system is designed to be exciting, fair, and flexible for both casual and competitive Pixelmon servers.
Admin Commands
/Unbox givepack {player} {pack} {count}
Permission: Unbox.admin
Gives a player the specified number of booster packs
/Unbox reloadpacks
Permission: Unbox.admin
Reloads pack configurations
/Unbox rates {pack} {pokemon}
Permission: Unbox.rates
Allows checking the chance of obtaining a specific Pokémon from a pack
/Unbox advancedrates {pack} {pokemon}
Permission: Unbox.rates.advanced
Shows the calculated chance of obtaining a desired Pokémon from a pack
By default, players don't need special permission to open boosters — simply right-click the booster item.
Pack Configuration
Each themed pack comes pre-configured with 10-15 Pokémon of the corresponding type, including common, rare, and legendary creatures with well-balanced drop rates. These packs are stored as .yml files in the config/unbox/packs folder, where server owners can freely edit existing ones or create unlimited new packs.

Each pack can be unique and doesn't necessarily have to follow a specific theme. Pack names, Pokémon, and their IV/EV parameters are fully customizable. Server owners can set custom natures with individual chances for each, as well as configure Pokémon forms and palettes, including custom variants on servers — each with its own drop probability.
