The Union's Upgrade Scrolls mod is inspired by the scroll system from the game Maplestory. It adds various scrolls to Minecraft that allow you to enhance your equipment and even add special affixes for additional attributes!

How Do Scrolls Work?
Scrolls enhance your items and can be applied to almost all weapons, tools, and even armor! The effect depends on the type of scroll being used.
Modifier Scrolls add a random affix that provides additional stat bonuses when the item is equipped or held.
Cursed Scrolls add stars that increase damage or defense upon successful application, but can destroy your equipment if failed.
Golden Scrolls add the "Unbreakable" tag, protecting the item from destruction by scrolls or durability loss.
Holy Scrolls prevent item destruction on the next failed Cursed Scroll attempt. When used on an item with a Golden Scroll applied, they prevent the item's stars from resetting.
Using scrolls is very simple - just hold or equip the desired item and right-click to combine them.
Important Features
Cursed Scrolls have a chance of success or failure, with each successful attempt adding a star to the item.
Application chances:
- 80% - Success
- 20% - Item Loss
These scrolls can be used multiple times, but the maximum number of successful applications is capped at 15.
If the 20% item loss chance occurs, you will indeed lose the item. However, unbreakable items will survive but their stars will reset.
Where to Find Scrolls?
Breaking mob spawners gives a chance to drop up to 3 "Mysterious Scrolls". There is also a 1/150 chance to receive 1 "Golden Mysterious Scroll".
Right-clicking these scrolls randomly selects one of the existing scroll types. This is an interesting balancing method since mob spawners are usually overlooked for loot.
