A universal set of fixes and improvements for Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 that addresses multiple issues and adds useful features for comfortable gameplay.

Key Improvements

Interface and Controls

• Quit button display in the main menu
• Adjustment sliders: field of view (with hand adjustment), fog density, brightness, render distance (up to 32 chunks)
• Enhanced controls menu with rebindable hotkeys for quick access bar and function keys
• Key for dismounting from vehicles and releasing mouse cursor
• Photo mode and frame rate limiter

Gameplay Improvements

• Food waste prevention - prohibits eating when health is already full
• Automatic block stepping and ability to jump over fences
• Block selection from inventory and placement while crouching
• Armor equipping by simply right-clicking
• Accelerated network packet processing without artificial delays

Useful Features

• Fast leaf decay
• Enhanced burning mechanics:
  • Burning skeletons have a 70% chance of shooting flaming arrows
  • Flaming arrows ignite other entities
  • Fire-bearing mobs can transfer fire to players when attacking
• View enlargement key (zoom)

Additional Settings

Placing sugar cane on sand, obtaining boats when broken by player, removal of fence placement restrictions, increased book drops from bookshelves, prevention of flint and steel damage on failed ignition attempts.

Ability to disable new creature spawning and respawning when using bed, prevention of minecart stopping by items and arrows.

Legacy Features

Disabling dry bush and tall grass generation, TNT ignition by punching, obtaining wool from sheep by simple punching.

Crafting Recipes

Tool repair, additional furnace fuel types. Modified recipes allow shapeless crafting, wool recolor, increased slab and fence yields. Enables crafting of normally unobtainable blocks.

Bug Fixes

Elimination of depth artifacts on AMD graphics cards, proper interface scaling, slime splitting fixes, stairs dropping themselves when broken.

Fixes for falling through when dismounting boats, restoration of tool effectiveness on appropriate blocks, saddle drop from pigs correction, elimination of creature jerking in multiplayer.

Fence geometry corrections, block selection fixes, water source propagation, proper disappearing of flowing lava, correct bow holding and leggings display while riding.

Additional fixes include slider functionality in video settings, cursor positioning in fullscreen mode, bucket preservation when using lava in furnace, caught fish flight trajectory, and various item graphical display issues.
