Universal Shops

Universal Shops is a trade shop mod designed for Fabric and compatible with Quilt. It stands out for its flexibility and suitability for various server types. Since the mod operates exclusively on the server side (including single-player), it can be used on both vanilla clients and as part of modpacks. It includes a craftable Trade Shop block for players and an Admin Trade Shop for administrators or map creators, with identical setup procedures.

The mod integrates with Common Protection API, verifying player access to source chests or containers. It is recommended to use compatible protection mods such as GOML or HTM.

Using Trade Shops

The first step for a player is to craft the Trade Shop block. This requires any 4 planks, 1 wool, and 1 iron ingot.

Then, place the block adjacent to a container (on top or to the side).

After that, Shop Settings will open, where you can specify the type of item being sold and its price. Additional options include hopper support and disabling the hologram.

To change settings, click on the corresponding item. For item-based settings, click on an empty slot: if the cursor holds an item, it will be copied; otherwise, a menu will open for manual selection.

Done! The shop is fully operational. All that remains is to place the required stock in the container, and other players can purchase it.

To buy items, open the shop and take the sold item. Hold Shift to move the item directly to your inventory!
