Unmending Plus

This mod provides a revised approach to the Mending enchantment, making its mechanics more balanced and interesting. Essentially, Unmending Plus is an improvement and fix to the original Unmending mod by Txuritan, which accidentally allowed tools with Mending to be repaired with experience orbs.

The main goal of the modification is to eliminate the game's monotony that occurs after obtaining indestructible top-tier gear. To bring back interest to the game, Unmending Plus implements the following changes:

Disabled Experience Orb Repair

Experience orbs no longer restore the durability of tools endowed with the Mending enchantment.

Forbidden Mending Application

Mending books cannot be used to apply the enchantment to tools in the usual way.

Reset of Additional Repair Cost

Due to the "Too Expensive" limitation, tools eventually become irreparable over time. The new Mending mechanics solve this problem — when applying a Mending book through an anvil, the additional repair cost is reset, allowing continued tool restoration.
