Unnatural Absorption
Attention: This version of the mod for Minecraft 1.12 is no longer supported. For version 1.15 and above, it is recommended to use my new project Simple Absorption.
Unnatural Absorption is a highly customizable modification that adds a constant number of absorption hearts to the player. This project is a fork of the Natural Absorption mod by FatherToast, updated to work with versions 1.11 and 1.12. Development is carried out with the permission of the original author.
The absorption hearts serve as an additional protective barrier, especially useful in worlds with natural regeneration disabled or as an extra boost under normal conditions. This shield gradually regenerates over time and, importantly, is not a potion effect, allowing it to combine with other mods that add absorption.
The mod offers extensive customization options:
- Initial number of absorption hearts
- Shield regeneration rate
- Number of hearts lost upon death
- Option to consume hunger during restoration
- Possibility to completely replace armor with absorption hearts
All parameters are described in detail in the configuration file with comments for each option, making it easy to customize the mod to your preferences.
