UNTAGGED MOBS
Current Project Status
The UNTAGGED MOBS mod is in the earliest stage of alpha testing. Currently, there are many bugs, crashes, and unfinished features. Only one type of mob is available in the game.
Concept and Inspiration
This medium-scale mod adds various strange elements to Minecraft, focusing on aesthetics like Windows-XP, Frutiger-Aero, web design, and other styles. Development is inspired by concepts such as missing textures, glitches, and other elements that remind players they are in a virtual world.

"Server key next to two items/missing"

"Laboratory room"
Gameplay
The player's main goal is to find a Server Key, which can be discovered in the Laboratory - a structure often found underground. After obtaining the key, you need to find a Server Door in Unstable Structures, which generate throughout the overworld. Opening such a door will release non-players.
You can also combine three server keys in a Compressing Table to create a Third-Party Server Key, which triples the spawn rate of non-players.

Compression System
Compression plays an important role in the mod. Items are compressed by repeatedly affecting them in a short period of time, causing them to shrink and transform into new objects. This process is also used to create third-party server keys.

Resource Farming
Why release non-players? To farm items/missing! This is the main component for creating Aberration of an Item - a resource frequently used in crafting. Aberration of an Item is obtained by compressing three items/missing in a compressing table and is used to create most of the mod's items.

Non-Players
Non-players are mobs that behave similarly to real players (currently only 5% of the planned functionality is implemented). They resemble players in appearance but lack textures. Their movements appear choppy, like during lag. These creatures are neutral to the player until attacked. They have the same attack range as players, but some characteristics, such as damage, are higher than normal. They are also trying to master bunny-hopping techniques but aren't very successful yet.

When killed, non-players drop 2 items/missing. As mentioned earlier, Aberration of an Item is an important resource for most recipes.
Offsetter
These basic shapes are used to create the Offsetter - a very useful tool, not a weapon. The Offsetter works like a gravity gun, allowing you to telepathically hold mobs for 4 seconds.
The tool also works on players. It can be used as a weapon by dropping mobs into pits or clipping them into blocks. No-clipping won't send you to the backrooms. The Offsetter has 40 uses.

Cassette Tapes
In the game, you can find cassette tapes that currently have no functional purpose but replace music discs. They vary in rarity, and some of them (will) have special uses!

These cassettes cannot be played in jukeboxes - you need a tape player for this, whose recipe is similar to that of a jukebox.
Missing Blocks
Missing blocks have a complete set of blocks that can be created through crafting.

These are the main features of the current alpha version. The mod will be regularly updated, so stay tuned for news!
