Upgrade Modifiers Mod
The Upgrade Modifiers modification introduces special upgrade tokens into the game that can be combined with equipment on an anvil to enhance gear stats. For instance, the max health token can be merged with any chest armor and will boost your maximum health when wearing that chest piece. Each equipment item can receive multiple upgrades simultaneously, but a single item is limited to a maximum of three modifiers.
Players have several ways to obtain tokens: they can acquire them as rare merchandise from the new wandering trader. In certain modpacks, tokens also serve as rewards for completing specific missions or quests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the mod compatible with items from other modifications? Yes. Each enhancer works with a specific equipment slot type. All in-game items have equipment slots, ensuring compatibility.
Why does statistics display incorrectly after applying tokens? Minecraft doesn't always show players stat hints consistently. For example, a sword might display stats of 5 damage units and 1.6 attack speed, but after upgrade application values might change to -2.4 attack speed and 4 damage units. This is related to game's statistics calculation and display specifics. The green text versions are made for better appearance and convenience, but adding modifiers can disrupt their formatting. Actual characteristics remain the same - the item doesn't deal less damage or slow attack speed.
For additional clarification: the game might show damage one unit lower than before. This happens due to the player's base damage of one unit being added in the background. A similar situation occurs with attack speed - the character initially has a high attack speed value, and weapons reduce it accounting for different swing speeds.
