Uranium Reenriched mod
Once I encountered an old mod called "Uranium mod" that offered a simple concept of working with radioactive materials. Over time, that project disappeared, and I decided to develop this idea to a completely new level.
Please note that the mod is under active development! Some interfaces are not fully ready, and some mechanisms don't have them at all. To interact with equipment, use right-click and Shift+right-click. For debugging processes, a special Debugger tool is available.
Infusion Principle
The modification preserves the basic infusion principle from the original, but with an important improvement: nuclear fuel now has two parameters - Radiation (beneficial aspect) and Contamination (negative effect).
Reactor Operation
When critical contamination levels accumulate, the reactor begins to leak, and in extreme cases, a full-scale meltdown can occur. These processes turn ordinary water into heavy water, and solid blocks become covered with toxic Waste Goo.
RW Power System
An innovative RotoWatt power system has been introduced, where energy spreads exclusively from top to bottom. Mechanisms using this technology display their RW consumption or production in tooltips.
Heavy Water
This is a by-product of production that is then used in the Deuterium Extractor to fill special containers.
Radiating Tools
Radiating iron tools slightly outperform standard iron counterparts in characteristics. The special features include: swords that poison enemies, and shovels that can extract Waste Goo.
Protective Suits
Armor made from C-14 crystals provides better protection compared to diamond armor. Each piece has unique properties:
- Boots protect against Waste Goo damage
- Helmet provides night vision
- Chestplate neutralizes poison effects
- Leggings provide damage resistance
Plasma
Created in the Plasma Heater from deuterium containers. When thrown, it causes almost complete disappearance of the landscape within the impact radius, so use should be exercised with extreme caution.
