USP Unified Space Program
The USP Unified Space Program mod fundamentally transforms the approach to space dimensions in Minecraft, eliminating the chaos of multiple planet implementations from different mods and creating a unified, harmonious space system.
Core Concept
Instead of having several different versions of Venus or other planets from various modifications, USP combines them all into one logical and beautiful space system. All planets now float in the cosmic void using a skyland-inspired terrain generation that perfectly suits the space theme.
Key Features
🌌 Dimension Unification - Complete integration of space worlds from different mods into a unified system
👨🚀 Survival Mechanics - Working oxygen and gravity systems without conflicts between modifications, supporting different space suits
🚀 Two Rocket Types - Both block-based contraption rockets (full customization) and craftable rockets from Ad Astra and Creating Space
🪐 Full Solar System - All 8 planets of our system plus the Moon are ready for exploration (with more celestial objects coming soon)
🌟 Planetary Orbits - Each planet has its own orbit reachable via travel, with automatic landing structure creation when using Ad Astra rockets
⚙️ Customization - Full configurability through datapacks - examine the .jar contents in the /data folder to understand the data structure
Compatibility
The mod partially integrates functionality from these popular space modifications:
- Ad Astra
- Creating Space
- Space Dimensions
- Osmium Space Program
- Northstar
Currently, an Ad Astra chestplate is required for breathing in space, but other space suit components can be mixed from any other mod.
Future Development
Significant feature expansions are planned:
- Alternative breathing methods without Ad Astra gear
- Addition of moons, dwarf planets, and objects beyond our Solar System
- Resolution of current minor issues
- Integration of additional add-ons
- Improved terrain generation and biome placement
Video demonstrations help showcase all of the mod's capabilities.
