Utility Staffs 2 - InsaneGames Module

This module is an addon for the Utility Staffs 2 modification that adds three unique staffs created from materials from developer InsaneGames's mods.

Module Features

The module includes three special staffs crafted from the following materials:

• Galaxite
• Carbonado
• Vulcanite

Each of these staffs possesses not only standard main and secondary abilities but also unique passive effects.

Unique Abilities

Galaxite Staff - features a special passive effect that saves the player from falling into the void by levitating them high into the air. It's important to be prepared for a safe landing after activating this ability.

Vulcanite Staff - has passive protection that temporarily shields the owner from fire and burning.

Both passive effects consume significant staff durability and have a cooldown period displayed by a special bar in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Important Information

The ability cooldown is tied to the player, not the item, so using multiple identical staffs will not allow you to speed up the recharge of passive effects.

Known Issues

In the current version of the mod, there is a bug: when quitting the game or switching between dimensions, the cooldown indicator disappears. However, the cooldown period itself continues to function, and passive abilities can be activated earlier than intended. This creates a "ghost" effect where the game thinks the ability hasn't been granted yet, which can make potion effects infinite. In both cases, this can be dangerous as each effect has its own negative consequences when malfunctioning.

Developer's Notes

I really liked the materials from InsaneGames_'s three mods and felt they could have unique abilities as staffs. I'm proud of how this module turned out, even if it adds very little content. This is still a new development, and more features will likely be added in the future.
