Valkyrien Relogs
The standard Minecraft mechanics do not save your position relative to a Valkyrien Skies ship when logging off - instead, you spawn where you were in the world before boarding the vessel.
This simple mod solves the problem with a special block - the Relog Anchor:
- To craft the anchor, you need 2 amethyst shards and a blackstone pressure plate (the recipe doesn't require a specific shape)
- After assembling a ship, you can interact with the anchor installed on it. The first player to activate the anchor becomes an officer of that vessel and gains the ability to log off directly on the ship
- The officer can use the anchor again to add other players within approximately 3 blocks to the ship's crew
If you log off on a registered ship (you can only be tied to one vessel at a time), upon your next login you will be in the same position relative to the ship, regardless of its current location in the world.
Officer information is stored directly on the ship, so installing additional anchors won't allow other players to become officers, but can be used in the normal way.
Starting from version 0.3.0, after logging into the game you need to press Shift once to start moving - this prevents falling off the ship during loading.
