Vampiric Ageing - A Vampirism Addon
This addon for the Vampirism mod introduces an aging system for vampires, hunters, and, with the appropriate mod installed, werewolves. The modification provides players with the ability to develop their characters, unlocking new abilities and enhancing existing ones.
Aging System for Vampires
By default, the aging process begins at vampire level 14. To increase their age rank, players must drain blood from a certain number of creatures. Progress can be tracked by interacting with a coffin. The age rank is displayed above the character's blood bar and resets upon death (configurable).
There are several ways to increase rank: time-based, infection-based, blood-draining-based, or hunting creatures from other factions. All parameters can be customized to suit your preferences.
Vampire Abilities
With each new age rank (maximum 5), vampires receive:
- Increased health
- Reduced sun damage
- Less blood loss
- Automatic step assistance (rank 2)
- Ability to drain blood when attacking (rank 3)
- Water walking (rank 4)
- Reduced powdered snow effects
- Speed increase (rank 1)
- Enhanced attack damage
- Faster resurrection
- Shorter neonatal form duration
Additional optional abilities:
- Enhanced regeneration
- Stronger immortality
Aging Disadvantages
With increasing age, weaknesses also intensify:
- Increased vulnerability to fire, garlic, and holy water
- Worse trading with villagers
- More damage from hunters
- Rapid blood loss from garlic and fire
Sire Mechanic
This optional system changes the aging principle. When enabled, it's recommended to disable age reset and use only this method.
Players can obtain an age rank by killing a vampire with a rank and collecting their blood in a bottle. Rank is also transferred when infected by an advanced vampire. Players with a rank can create blood bottles with a rank below theirs.

Hunters begin aging at level 14, increasing rank by hunting vampires and werewolves. Progress is tracked through an injection chair.
