Wooden Stakes and Smite will not only drain your hunger, but they also stun you, and bypass your immortality!

Sunlight's Curse

You burn in contact with sunlight, and you are unable to regenerate when on fire.

Unnatural Healing

You regenerate constantly at the cost of blood, until you reach full 3 hunger shanks.

Instead of dying, you lose blood, unless you have no blood left, or the killing blow was from sources including Smite, Wooden Stakes, or the Sun.
